Adapting Your Cleaning Chemistry for Optimal Results
Print
Share:
How often do you adjust your cleaning chemistry and cleaning procedures to the soil load in the carpet fiber? It’s easy to fall into a rut and use the same products and process on every job.
With a more customized approach, you can get better results, increase productivity and be more profitable.
Start with the best product for the carpet type and level of soil. For example, for residential carpet with light soiling a traffic lane cleaner like Ultrapac Traffic Lane Cleaner and a rinse such as All Fiber Deep Clean may do the trick, but for medium soil, adding a booster additive like Biosolv to the traffic lane cleaner will attack tougher soils, oils, stains and greases more effectively. And for heavily soiled residential carpet you can add both Biosolv as a booster and an oxidizing product such as Energizer to amplify the detergent’s cleaning power.
You should also use different chemistry with olefin and commercial carpets, depending on their soil load – light, medium, or heavy soil, and for restaurant food or automotive grease. That's where Ultrapac Extreme or Power Burst can really make the difference.
It’s all about using the right tool for the job. As with any cleaning, you should always pretest your products on an inconspicuous area of the carpet.
